didn’t expect to fall in love with the food as much as we did at nova the other day! the portion sizes are extremely generous and of course the food itself was delicious. the chicken with my salad was extremely succulent and tender, packed with flavour. the peach bellini cocktail was lovely.

they have an extensive brunch menu and many options with fresh seafood such as the fish pie, prawn linguini and fish and chips.
we also met the chef, leo, a lovely man who really cares about his customers. great place to dine!

We ordered the €150 set, which included one lobster, four oysters, six so-called “whole prawns,” with mussels underneath.

The oysters were extremely small — one of them had about the same amount of meat as a mussel. The six “whole prawns” were clearly not fresh. The shells looked shrivelled and the flesh was soft rather than firm, which was very disappointing.

What made it even more confusing was that we could see the prawns being served at other tables. Theirs were much larger and looked fresh, with firm flesh and shells. I don’t understand why our table was served seafood of noticeably poorer quality, especially considering the €150 price.

Very disappointing experience.

We had the early bird menu which is pretty good value. The chips and guac and halloumi tacos were amazing. Nice and light for a starter yet delicious. For mains we had the tempura prawns and bacon and egg burger. Prawns tasted very fresh and would highly recommend. Hugo spritz was also fabulous
